Research, data & information sharing


CAK will establish a Resource Centre and creating a database for: Members (including member’s profiles and their areas of focus); Donor profile and thematic interests; Conservatories and Sanctuaries inventory (species, stockpiles, population information; Database of threatened, endangered and extinct (near extinction) flora and fauna; and Indigenous knowledge and cultural practices.
Gather and collate information on: Natural Capital and Economic impact; Bio-prospecting activities and opportunities; Emerging trends, gaps and challenges Dissemination research information through; Academic publications; Newsletters, digital platforms and other channels.
Activities

– Connectivity and status of habitats & ecosystems.
– Implementation of species plans/strategies
– GDP & Natural capital valuation
